Portrait Painting with dave peikon
Wednesdays 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. , and Wednesdays 6:30 P.m. - 9:30 P.M.
Fridays 10 A.M.-1 P.M.

This portrait course covers two or three poses during the semester. Students become familiar with alla-prima portrait painting and focus on light effects and likeness.

About Dave Peikon

David Peikon is an award-winning artist whose work has been featured in American Artist Magazine, Boulevard Magazine, the New York Times, Hamptons.com, WLIW’s “Ticket,” and more. His work hangs in corporate and private collections around the world.
In addition to creating landscapes, Dave is also well known as a portrait painter whose notable clients include William F. Buckley Jr., philanthropist David H. Koch, and Salvatore Ferragamo, as well as Nobel Laureates Dr. Elizabeth Blackburn, Dr. Thomas Cech, Dr. Carol Grieder and Dr. James D. Watson. The artist is represented on Long Island by the Lynda Anderson Gallery, in Locust Valley, NY.
