Master Class – Historic Principles of Landscape Painting:
In this class students first work with various media out of doors, creating landscape studies according to traditional18th- and 19th-century painting principles. They then bring the studies together in the studio to create a complex, layered oil painting. Topics covered include drawing from nature, light and color in nature, aerial and linear perspective, composition and design, and glazing.
