LIAFA courses are designed to follow a sequential
progression, in which beginning students take
introductory classes in drawing, painting, or
sculpture, and then move on to intermediate and
advanced classes. This is based on a traditionally
structured atelier program, and maximizes a student’s
technical proficiency.
Due to the complex nature of certain projects,
students will need to repeat some foundation courses
in order to complete a highly finished work.
